Pet Dental Care

You take care of your teeth - why not your best friend's?  If left untreated, poor oral care can result in your dog's prematurely losing teeth and gum disease, in addition to pain and discomfort.  A dental assessment is part of an annual visit for your pet.

During that exam, we will address the condition of your dog's teeth, gums and mouth and the need for an annual teeth cleaning to remove the build up of plaque and tartar.  We recommend every canine have at least one professional dental cleaning each year.  We can do this in our office.  Typically patients are dropped off in the morning and released the same afternoon.

In addition to annual dental cleanings, our doctors will recommend an at-home regimen for your pet.  Regular teeth brushing at home with pet-friendly
toothpaste can help keep your dog's teeth healthier.
